HEATING, VENTILATION, AIR CONDITIONING, & BASIC REFRIGERATION TRAINING AT STVT

Train for exciting careers in HVAC at South Texas Vocational Technical Institute (STVT)’s Brownsville campus! Our Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, & Basic Refrigeration (HVAC/BR) training combines classroom education with hands-on training. Develop, refine, and master new skills under the guidance of our industry-experienced instructors.

Students in our HVAC/BR program can:

  • Practice refrigerant reclamation and recycling
  • Study basic electrical theory related to air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration systems
  • Practice operating, repairing, and maintaining heat pumps, refrigeration systems, and more! Brakes, Steering & Suspension
This hybrid program can be completed in 10 months. Upon completion, graduates are awarded a diploma.
